Maarten Karnekamp

Maarten Karnekamp – CEO

Maarten – born in 1952, married, two daughters and three grandchildren –  is working already for a long time. After studying he worked for almost two decades in the judicial field. First he worked as court’s clerk at the Court of Appeal in Amsterdam and then as Unit manager Civil Law at the Court of Appeal at The Hague. After that he changed his career in another direction. He worked as project manager first at Getronics and later on at Capgemini. He managed a long list of software development and infrastructure projects. Also he worked for a lot of customers as consultant.

He has been working as a SAM consultant and Software Asset Manager for a long time and over the years he gained a lot of experience.

The connection between his original education, first years of work and present work is – obviously – in the license models and terms and conditions of software contracts.

Sifting contract terms and conditions is his passion and proposing changes to the ones more in line of the needs of the customer organization is where his passion lies.  In this way he is able to advise the customer towards the best possible position towards the software vendor.

The people of In2SAM are all passionate about their work and Maarten is positioned in In2SAM as CEO.
